You're never too young or old to play video games
Wesley Hall presents Press Start - a gaming cafe for all ages. We have a wide selection of consoles and a bunch of classic games. Whether it's beat 'em ups, racing games or platformers, there'll be something for you.
Not into video games? No problem! There are plenty of themed 'geekcraft' activities to enjoy, and a cafe serving artisan coffee. We hope to see you there!

There will be posters and signs for Press Start in the window and on the street so you can't miss it!
Press Start is a non-profit event, and is comprised mostly of our own personal video game and console collections. We appreciate any monetary donations for upkeep and replacement of broken items, and are always on the lookout for more hardware to add to our stock!

- CRT or flat-screen screens
- Old or new video game consoles
- Console controllers or peripherals (driving wheels, fight sticks, music game instruments)
- Video games
The National Videogame Museum in Sheffield opened in November 2018, and is host to lots of machines, old and new. Entry fees apply, but this is a great way to spend an afternoon!
For older gamers, Meltdown is a good place to meet friends, have some drinks and play some games. They also stream eSports and have themed nights.

Ember is a social network for gamers, developed in Sheffield! Meet like-minded individuals, share your content, games and much more. The site is currently in alpha, but big changes are coming soon!
Extra Life is a video game cafe on Commercial Street in Sheffield city centre that has a variety of old and new consoles, free to play for customers. Check their website for upcoming events!
